Xiaomi’s latest HyperOS 3 update, based on Android 16, is progressively rolling out to an expanding range of devices. According to ITHome, the current focus is on 2023 models, although the rollout is for Chinese variants only; global releases are expected about a month later.

This update is being deployed in batches rather than all units receiving it simultaneously. The lineup now includes flagship and mid-range models such as the Xiaomi Mix Fold 3, the Xiaomi 13 series, and several Redmi Note devices spanning 2023 to 2025 releases.
Eligible Devices in China include:
- Xiaomi Mix Fold 3

- Xiaomi 13 Pro
- Xiaomi 13
- Redmi Note 15 Pro+ (China)
- Redmi Note 15 Pro (China)
- Redmi Note 14 Pro+ 5G
- Redmi Note 14 Pro 5G
- Xiaomi Redmi Note 13 Pro+

For global users, the Xiaomi 13 series is expected to get HyperOS 3 by January, alongside some Redmi Note devices. However, the Redmi Note 13 Pro 4G variant is already receiving the update this month.
It is also worth noting that Poco phones operate on a separate HyperOS 3 update schedule.
