Honor has officially expanded its Magic8 series with the launch of the Magic8 Lite, which was first previewed in an unboxing back in November. Positioned as the most affordable model in the lineup, the Magic8 Lite succeeds the Magic7 Lite, originally released in January.

The Magic8 Lite is powered by Qualcomm's Snapdragon 6 Gen 4 chipset and equipped with 8GB of RAM. Storage options include 256GB and 512GB variants. It features a large 6.79-inch OLED display with a resolution of 1200 x 2640 pixels, a 120Hz refresh rate, 3,840Hz PWM dimming, and a peak brightness of 6,000 nits. The camera setup includes a 108MP main sensor, a 5MP ultrawide lens, and a 16MP front-facing camera. The device impresses with a massive 7,500mAh battery supporting 66W fast wired charging.

The phone boasts IP66, IP68, and IP69K dust and water resistance ratings. It will be available in Forest Green, Midnight Black, and Reddish Brown color options. Honor also highlights the Magic8 Lite’s durability, stating it can survive drops from heights up to 2.5 meters onto surfaces such as marble.

The Magic8 Lite measures 161.9 x 76.1 x 7.76 mm and weighs 189 grams. However, it runs on Android 15 with Honor’s MagicOS 9 interface, even though Android 16 was released six months prior. Pricing has not yet been announced, but Honor confirms the phone will be available in Europe starting January 2026.
