Targeted at the modern youth balancing studies, social media, entertainment, and gaming, the Lava Play Max is powered by the MediaTek Dimensity 7300 SoC. It runs on a clean version of Android 15, ensuring a bloat-free user experience, and offers up to 8GB of RAM alongside 128GB of storage, which can be expanded with an additional 1TB via microSD.

Notably, the Play Max includes Vapor Chamber (VC) cooling technology, which Lava claims maintains consistent performance without overheating during extended gaming sessions on popular titles like COD Mobile, Free Fire, and BGMI.

The device features a 6.72-inch FullHD+ display with a 120Hz refresh rate and is powered by a 5,000 mAh battery supporting 33W fast charging. Photography is handled by a 50MP primary camera with Electronic Image Stabilization (EIS) and 4K video recording at 30fps, complemented by an 8MP front-facing camera.
With an IP54 rating for splash resistance, the Lava Play Max is available in Deccan Black and Himalayan White color options. It offers two variants: 6GB RAM with 128GB storage priced at INR 12,999 (approximately $145/€125), and 8GB RAM with 128GB storage priced at INR 14,999 (approximately $165/€145).

The Play Max is set to go on sale in India later this month, though the exact date has not been announced. Lava also highlighted that the device will be supported by its "Free Service @ Home" customer service program.
