Recent reports suggested that Johny Srouji, Apple’s Senior Vice President of Hardware Technologies, might be leaving the company amid a wave of executive exits. However, Srouji has personally dismissed these rumors, reassuring employees and the public that he intends to remain with Apple.
In a leaked internal memo, Srouji addressed the speculation directly, stating:
I know you've been reading all kinds of rumors and speculations about my future at Apple, and I feel that you need to hear from me directly. I am proud of the amazing technologies we all build across displays, cameras, sensors, silicon, batteries, and a very wide set of technologies, across all Apple products. Together we enable the best products in the world. I love my team, and I love my job at Apple, and I don't plan on leaving anytime soon.
Despite several high-ranking executives departing Apple recently, Srouji remains committed to driving the company’s hardware innovation forward.
