vivo introduced the X300 alongside the X300 Pro in October in China, followed by a global release later that month. The X300 is a smaller flagship device and serves as a spiritual successor to last year's X200 Pro mini, rather than the X200 as the name might suggest.

But does the X300 deliver for users seeking a compact flagship smartphone? Watch our video review below to find out.
The X300 is well-equipped with impressive hardware: a 200MP primary camera, a 50MP ultrawide camera with autofocus, and a 50MP periscope telephoto lens offering 3x optical zoom. The front-facing 50MP selfie camera also supports autofocus.
Under the hood, it is powered by MediaTek’s flagship Dimensity 9500 chipset, paired with up to 12GB of RAM and fast UFS 4.1 storage. The 6.31-inch display features a 1216x2640 resolution, a smooth 120Hz refresh rate, and strong brightness levels. One potential drawback is the EU variant’s battery capacity of 5,360 mAh—larger than the similarly sized Samsung Galaxy S25 but smaller than some offerings from other Chinese manufacturers.
