Honor has officially unveiled the Magic8 Lite, expanding its Magic8 series with this budget-friendly model. Serving as the successor to January's Magic7 Lite, the Magic8 Lite was first unboxed back in November, generating early interest ahead of its official launch.

Under the hood, the Magic8 Lite features Qualcomm's Snapdragon 6 Gen 4 processor paired with 8GB of RAM. Storage options include 256GB and 512GB variants. It sports a large 6.79-inch OLED display with a resolution of 1200 x 2640 pixels, a 120Hz refresh rate, 3,840Hz PWM dimming, and an impressive peak brightness of 6,000 nits.
Photography capabilities include a 108MP main camera, a 5MP ultrawide lens, and a 16MP front-facing camera. The phone is powered by a substantial 7,500mAh battery supporting 66W wired fast charging, ensuring extended usage and quick recharge times.

The device carries IP66, IP68, and IP69K certifications, providing robust dust and water resistance. It is available in three color options: Forest Green, Midnight Black, and Reddish Brown. Remarkably, Honor claims the Magic8 Lite can survive drops from up to 2.5 meters onto hard surfaces like marble.

Measuring 161.9 x 76.1 x 7.76 mm and weighing 189 grams, the Magic8 Lite offers a slim and lightweight design. It runs on Android 15 with Honor's MagicOS 9 overlay, despite the release of Android 16 six months ago.
While pricing details remain undisclosed, Honor has announced the phone will be available in European markets starting January 2026.
