OnePlus is set to launch the 15R on December 17, alongside the Pad Go 2 and Watch Lite. Ahead of the release, the company has officially confirmed that the 15R will feature a 7,400mAh battery—the largest capacity ever in a OnePlus phone sold outside of China. (The recently announced Ace 6T holds the record within China with its 8,300mAh battery.)
This sizable battery supports 80W SuperVOOC wired charging and is designed to retain at least 80% of its original capacity after four years of use. It incorporates 15% silicon content in its anode for enhanced performance.
OnePlus has also revealed that the 15R is powered by the latest Snapdragon 8 Gen 5 processor. The device boasts an AMOLED display with a "1.5K" resolution and a 165Hz refresh rate, reaching up to 1,800 nits brightness in High Brightness Mode. Additionally, the 15R will support OnePlus' Plus Mind feature and includes the dedicated Plus Key.
