The vivo S50 series is expected to launch later this month in China. Although an official release date has not been announced, the company has been actively teasing the new models, which include the vivo S50 and S50 Pro mini.
Prior to the launch, vivo revealed the rear design of the S50. The device features a distinctive "Confession White" finish with a patterned back and a square-shaped triple-camera module.
Additionally, vivo showcased other color variants for the S50 on Weibo. Apart from the white option, the phone will be available in Inspiration Purple, Gentle Blue, and Space Black.
The company also recently revealed the rear design of the S50 Pro mini, which differs by featuring a pill-shaped camera module.
Rumored specifications for the standard vivo S50 include a 6.59-inch AMOLED display with a 120Hz refresh rate, the Snapdragon 8s Gen 3 chipset, a 50MP Sony IMX882 periscope telephoto camera, a 50MP front-facing camera, and a 6,500mAh battery with 90W fast charging support.
