After weeks of anticipation, OnePlus has officially unveiled the Ace 6T in China. This device is the first smartphone to feature the newly released Snapdragon 8 Gen 5 chipset. Currently available for pre-order in China, it is expected to launch globally as the OnePlus 15R.
The OnePlus Ace 6T sports a 6.83-inch AMOLED display offering a 165Hz refresh rate, peak brightness of 1,800 nits in high brightness mode, and a 1.5K resolution. The screen supports DC dimming, Dolby Vision, HDR10+, and is protected by Oppo Crystal Shield Glass.
Under the hood, the Ace 6T is powered by the Snapdragon 8 Gen 5 chipset, complemented by a proprietary G2 network chip and a dedicated display chip. The phone is available with up to 1TB of UFS 4.1 storage and 16GB of LPDDR5X RAM.
The device features an upgraded vapor chamber cooling system for enhanced heat dissipation compared to its predecessor. OnePlus states that the Ace 6T supports 165 FPS in various games and offers native 144 FPS support in the popular Honor of Kings title.
Photography-wise, the Ace 6T is equipped with a dual rear camera setup comprising a 50MP Sony IMX906 main sensor with optical image stabilization (OIS) and an 8MP ultrawide lens. On the front, a 16MP camera handles selfies and video calls.
Powering the device is a substantial 8,300mAh battery that supports 100W wired fast charging, ensuring extended usage and quick recharging.
Additional features include an in-display ultrasonic fingerprint scanner, IP66/68/69/69K certifications for water and dust resistance, stereo speakers, an infrared sensor, Bluetooth 6.0, a USB-C 2.0 port, and Wi-Fi 7 support. The Ace 6T runs ColorOS 16 based on Android 16.
The phone comes in Phantom Green, Electric Purple, and Flash Black. A special Genshin Impact Kamisato Ayaka Limited Edition is also available in Snowy Blue, accompanied by a collectible box and several exclusive accessories.
Pricing starts at CNY 2,599 (approximately $365) for the 12GB/256GB model. The 16GB/256GB and 12GB/512GB variants are priced at CNY 2,899 ($410) and CNY 3,099 ($440), respectively. The 16GB/512GB version costs CNY 3,399 ($480), while the 16GB/1TB model is listed at CNY 3,899 ($550). The Genshin Impact Kamisato Ayaka Limited Edition, available with 16GB/512GB, is priced at CNY 3,699 ($525).
