After weeks of anticipation, OnePlus has officially unveiled the Ace 6T in China. This model is the first smartphone to feature the newly announced Snapdragon 8 Gen 5 chipset. Available now for pre-order in China, it is expected to launch globally under the name OnePlus 15R.
The OnePlus Ace 6T boasts a 6.83-inch AMOLED display with a 1.5K resolution and an impressive 165Hz refresh rate. The screen can reach up to 1,800 nits in high brightness mode and supports DC dimming, Dolby Vision, and HDR10+. It is protected by Oppo’s durable Crystal Shield Glass.
Powering the device is the Snapdragon 8 Gen 5 processor, complemented by a proprietary G2 network chip and a dedicated display chip. The phone can be configured with up to 16GB of LPDDR5X RAM and 1TB of UFS 4.1 storage.
Thermal management has been enhanced with a vapor chamber cooling system, improving heat dissipation compared to its predecessor. OnePlus highlights 165FPS support for various games, with native 144FPS performance specifically for Honor of Kings.
The rear camera setup consists of a 50MP Sony IMX906 primary sensor with optical image stabilization (OIS) and an 8MP ultrawide lens. For selfies and video calls, there is a 16MP front-facing camera.
OnePlus has equipped the Ace 6T with a substantial 8,300mAh battery, supporting 100W wired fast charging for quick top-ups.
Additional features include an in-display ultrasonic fingerprint scanner, IP66/68/69/69K water and dust resistance ratings, stereo speakers, an infrared sensor, Bluetooth 6.0, USB-C 2.0 port, and Wi-Fi 7 connectivity. The phone runs on Android 16 with ColorOS 16 overlay.
The Ace 6T is available in Phantom Green, Electric Purple, and Flash Black. There is also a special Genshin Impact Kamisato Ayaka Limited Edition, offered in Snowy Blue and packaged with collectible accessories.
Pricing in China starts at CNY 2,599 (approximately $365) for the 12GB/256GB model. The 16GB/256GB and 12GB/512GB versions are priced at CNY 2,899 ($410) and CNY 3,099 ($440), respectively. The 16GB/512GB variant costs CNY 3,399 ($480), while the top-tier 16GB/1TB model is listed at CNY 3,899 ($550). The Genshin Impact Limited Edition (16GB/512GB) is priced at CNY 3,699 ($525).
