After several weeks of anticipation, OnePlus has officially launched the Ace 6T in China. This device is the first smartphone to feature the newly announced Snapdragon 8 Gen 5 chipset. It is available for pre-order in China and is expected to be released globally under the name OnePlus 15R.
The OnePlus Ace 6T boasts a 6.83-inch AMOLED display with a smooth 165Hz refresh rate, peak brightness of 1,800 nits, and a 1.5K resolution. The display supports DC dimming, Dolby Vision, HDR10+, and is protected by Oppo’s Crystal Shield Glass for enhanced durability.
Under the hood, the phone is powered by Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 8 Gen 5 processor, complemented by OnePlus’s self-developed G2 network and display chips. The device can be configured with up to 1TB of UFS 4.1 storage and 16GB of LPDDR5X RAM, ensuring top-tier performance.
To manage heat efficiently, the Ace 6T is equipped with a vapor chamber cooling system, delivering superior thermal dissipation compared to its predecessor. OnePlus highlights gaming capabilities including support for 165FPS in multiple titles, with native 144FPS support for Honor of Kings.
The phone’s camera setup consists of a dual rear system featuring a 50MP Sony IMX906 main sensor with optical image stabilization (OIS), paired with an 8MP ultrawide lens. For selfies and video calls, there is a 16MP front-facing camera.
Powering the Ace 6T is a massive 8,300mAh battery that supports 100W wired fast charging, promising extended usage and quick recharge times.
Additional features include an in-display ultrasonic fingerprint scanner, IP66/68/69/69K water and dust resistance ratings, stereo speakers, an infrared sensor, Bluetooth 6.0, USB-C 2.0 port, and Wi-Fi 7 support. The device runs on ColorOS 16 based on Android 16.
The Ace 6T is offered in three color options: Phantom Green, Electric Purple, and Flash Black. There is also a special Genshin Impact Kamisato Ayaka Limited Edition available in Snowy Blue, which includes a collectible box with various accessories.
Pricing starts at CNY 2,599 ($365) for the 12GB RAM and 256GB storage model. The 16GB/256GB and 12GB/512GB variants are priced at CNY 2,899 ($410) and CNY 3,099 ($440), respectively. The 16GB/512GB option costs CNY 3,399 ($480), while the top-end 16GB/1TB model is priced at CNY 3,899 ($550). The Genshin Impact Limited Edition (16GB/512GB) is available for CNY 3,699 ($525).
