Following its European debut in September, the Redmi 15C 5G is now officially launching in India. Sales begin on December 11 at 12 PM IST with prices starting at INR 12,499.
The Indian version of the Redmi 15C 5G matches the international model closely and largely resembles the earlier Redmi 15C 4G. It features a 6.9-inch 720p IPS LCD display with a 120Hz refresh rate, a 50MP rear camera, and an 8MP front camera. Storage options include 128GB expandable memory, paired with 4GB, 6GB, or 8GB of RAM. A robust 6000mAh battery supports 33W fast charging. The key difference from the 4G variant is the MediaTek Dimensity 6400 chipset powering the 5G model.
Operating on Xiaomi's HyperOS 2, the device promises two years of software updates and four years of security patches.
The Redmi 15C 5G comes in three colors: Moonlight Blue, Dusk Purple, and Midnight Black. Pricing is set at INR 12,499 for the 4GB RAM model, INR 13,999 for 6GB, and INR 15,499 for 8GB. It will be available through Mi.com, Amazon India, and Xiaomi retail stores.
