Mercedes has begun rolling out the MBUX 3.3 software update over-the-air to more than 700,000 vehicles worldwide.
This update introduces an Amazon Music app along with Dolby Atmos support for Amazon Music, Audible, and Tidal. Additionally, it adds support for the IMAX Enhanced format with DTS:X audio for Ridevu by Sony Pictures.
The update also includes a new Calendar app featuring unified login and seamless integration across various productivity apps, simplifying in-vehicle management of meetings and schedules. Users can initiate Microsoft Teams calls directly from the app, and voice control lets you request briefings or daily overviews.
Moreover, the new Gamepack offers a curated selection of retro-style mini-games designed for quick entertainment during breaks or while parked.
Finally, the MBUX Voice Assistant has been enhanced to allow users to adjust additional vehicle settings via voice commands. However, Mercedes has not detailed which settings are included, leaving users to explore these new capabilities once the update is installed.
