Last week, renders revealed nubia’s first book-style foldable, the nubia Fold, joining the existing nubia Flip3 clamshell model. Now, Japanese carrier Y!mobile has officially listed the nubia Fold on its website, sharing detailed specifications and pricing.
nubia Fold Overview
The nubia Fold boasts an 8-inch main display with a sharp 2,480 x 2,200 resolution, accompanied by a 6.5-inch cover screen offering 2,748 x 1,172 pixels. Both screens support a smooth 120Hz refresh rate, and the main display includes split-view functionality for select applications.
Dimensions and Design
In its unfolded state, the device measures 144 x 160 x 5.4mm. When folded, it becomes 11.1mm thick and weighs 249 grams, striking a balance between portability and screen real estate.
The nubia Fold is powered by last year’s flagship Qualcomm Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 Elite chipset, paired with 12GB of RAM and 256GB of storage. It runs on Android 15 and offers IP54 certification for dust and water resistance.

Photography features include a triple rear camera setup with a 50MP main sensor, a 50MP ultrawide lens, and a 5MP macro camera. For selfies, the device offers two 20MP cameras—one embedded in the main display and another on the cover screen.

The foldable is equipped with a large 6,560mAh battery supporting 55W fast charging, ensuring extended usage and quicker recharge times.

The nubia Fold will be available in a single black color option, priced at JPY 178,560 (approximately $1,145). It launches in Japan on December 4 and is expected to reach other markets in 2026.
