Following in the footsteps of Spotify and other streaming services, YouTube has officially launched its own yearly recap feature. Starting today, users in North America can access YouTube Recap, with a global rollout planned by the end of the week.
Your Recap will be available directly on the YouTube homepage or under the You tab. According to YouTube, the Recap "uniquely highlights interests, deep dives, and moments you explored this year," all based on your 2025 watch history.
The feature displays up to 12 cards showcasing your top channels, evolving interests, viewing habits, and even "which personality type you fall into based on the videos you loved to watch."
For users who have streamed a lot of music, the Recap also highlights your favorite artists and songs. Additionally, it offers further insights into your preferred genres, podcasts, and a glimpse into your international music listening habits through the YouTube Music app.
