Samsung is extending valuable benefits to customers purchasing its first tri-fold smartphone, the Galaxy Z TriFold, which will go on sale in South Korea starting December 12.
As part of a special program, Galaxy Z TriFold owners will receive a one-time 50% discount on display repair costs in case of damage.

Details remain unclear on whether the discount applies to both the inner and outer displays. The device features a 10-inch flexible inner screen that is more vulnerable to damage, contrasted with a 6.5-inch external panel protected by Gorilla Glass Ceramic 2.
Samsung has not yet disclosed the actual display replacement costs, so the precise value of the 50% discount is still unknown. Further information about the program is expected as the phone reaches the market.

The Galaxy Z TriFold comes bundled with a 45W charger and protective case. It is priced at approximately $2,450 (KRW 3,594,000) in South Korea. Initially available in Crafted Black, the foldable smartphone will later launch in China, Taiwan, Singapore, the UAE, and the United States.
