OnePlus 15 Receives FCC Approval, US Launch Imminent

The OnePlus 15 was first unveiled in China last October and expanded globally earlier this month. However, its release in the US faced delays due to the US government shutdown, which prevented the Federal Communications Commission (FCC) from issuing the device's certification, despite completed testing and submitted documentation.

As a result, the OnePlus 15 has not yet launched in the US market. The good news is that the FCC has now officially certified the device, paving the way for its imminent US release.

The OnePlus 15 features a 6.78-inch LTPO OLED display with a resolution of 1272x2772 pixels, a 165Hz refresh rate, and up to 1,800 nits brightness in High Brightness Mode. Powered by the Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 SoC, it offers configurations including 12GB or 16GB RAM and storage options of 256GB, 512GB, or 1TB. The triple rear camera setup consists of a 50MP main sensor with OIS, a 50MP periscope telephoto camera with 3.5x optical zoom, and a 50MP ultrawide shooter. It also includes a 32MP front camera.

Battery capacity stands at 7,300 mAh, supporting 120W wired charging, 50W wireless charging, and 10W reverse wireless charging. The device runs Android 16 with OxygenOS 16 layered on top.
