iQOO 15 Global Model Receives First Software Update with November 2025 Security Patch

The iQOO 15 has begun its international rollout, starting with India, where it is now receiving its first software update.

This update, with firmware version PD2505F_EX_A_16.0.18.4.W30, requires a download of over 750MB. It introduces various system optimizations aimed at improving network and gaming performance.

Additionally, the update upgrades the Android security patch level on the iQOO 15 to November 1, 2025. The complete changelog is detailed below:

The iQOO 15 will officially go on sale in India starting December 1 via iQOO’s official website, Amazon.in, vivo exclusive stores, and select offline retailers. It will be available in Legend and Alpha colors, with two memory configurations: 12GB RAM with 256GB storage priced at INR 72,999 ($820/€705) and 16GB RAM with 512GB storage at INR 79,999 ($895/€770).

Powered by the Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 SoC and running OriginOS 6, the iQOO 15 is the first smartphone in India to ship with OriginOS out of the box. The phone will receive five Android OS upgrades and seven years of security updates.

Other key specifications include a 6.85-inch 144Hz LTPO AMOLED display with Dolby Vision support, a triple 50MP camera setup on the rear, a 32MP front-facing camera, and a large 7,000 mAh battery with 100W wired and 40W wireless charging. The device also holds IP68 and IP69 ratings for water and dust resistance.
