The Poco F8 Ultra is priced €80 to €100 above the F7 Ultra for the 256GB and 512GB variants at MSRP, though early bird offers reduce these prices by €180 to €200.
Poco F8 Ultra
This Ultra iteration prioritizes a larger 6.9” display over resolution, offering a 1200p+ 120Hz OLED screen with 12-bit Dolby Vision, compared to last generation’s 6.67” 1440p+ panel of the same specifications. Battery capacity is significantly increased from 5,300mAh to 6,500mAh, while charging speeds remain comparable with 100W wired and 50W wireless support.
Poco F8 Ultra Highlights
Powered by the Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 Elite, the F8 Ultra is among the most affordable devices featuring this processor. Major camera upgrades include a larger 50MP main sensor (1/1.31” vs. 1/1.55”), a 50MP telephoto periscope with 5x optical zoom (115mm focal length), and a higher-resolution 50MP ultra-wide camera with a narrower 102° field of view, replacing the previous 32MP 120° lens.
Poco F8 Pro has also seen a €50 MSRP increase compared to its predecessor. Early bird discounts of €180 to €200 apply here as well, positioning it as a compelling choice within the premium mid-range segment.

The F8 Pro effectively succeeds the F7 Ultra, adopting the same Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 Elite chipset and a similar-sized 6.59” display (slightly smaller than the F7 Ultra’s 6.67”). The camera setup remains close, except for a less powerful 8MP ultra-wide sensor. While the F7 Ultra offers a sharper 1440p+ display versus the F8 Pro’s 1156p+ resolution, the latter compensates with a larger 6,210mAh battery compared to 5,300mAh in the F7 Ultra.
F8 Pro and F8 Ultra Summary
The vanilla Poco F8 model has yet to be unveiled, but these two new phones promise excellent value for their price points.
