Huawei Pura X2 Foldable Launch Expected Early Next Year with Kirin 9030 Chip

Huawei's Pura X, launched in March, introduced a unique approach to foldable smartphones. Unlike traditional models, it features a vertical folding design similar to the Samsung Flip series but stands out with its unconventional 16:10 aspect ratio when unfolded, making it wider than any Flip device to date.

Building on the success of this form factor, Huawei is reportedly developing a successor, the Pura X2. According to recent rumors from China, the new model is expected to launch in the first quarter of next year, between January and March.

The Pura X2 is rumored to be powered by Huawei's latest Kirin 9030 SoC, which would be a natural upgrade from the Kirin 9020 chip found in the original Pura X. Beyond these initial details, no additional specifications have been revealed so far.
