The vivo S50 series is set to launch in China next month. Recently, the company confirmed that the S50 Pro mini will be powered by the new Snapdragon 8 Gen 5 SoC. Now, vivo has revealed the smartphone’s design and several key specifications.
vivo’s Han Boxiao shared the S50 Pro mini design on Weibo. The device features a pill-shaped horizontal rear camera module, reminiscent of the recently launched Honor 500 series and the iPhone Air.

The S50 Pro mini will sport a triple rear camera setup, including a Sony IMX882 periscope telephoto sensor. On the front, the phone will offer a 50MP selfie camera.
The display measures 6.31 inches, featuring a flat panel and a 3D ultrasonic fingerprint scanner 2.0. Additionally, the device will have an IP68 and IP69 rating for water and dust resistance.
Powering the phone is a 6,500mAh battery supporting 90W wired and 40W wireless charging. The device also includes an X-axis linear motor and UFS 4.1 storage for enhanced performance.
