More than a year after unveiling the GS3 rugged smartwatch, Black Shark has now launched the GS3 Ultra model.
The Black Shark GS3 Ultra features a reinforced metal frame, four mechanical-style buttons, and a 1.43-inch circular AMOLED display with a 466x466 resolution and 1,000 nits of brightness. The screen is protected by 9H Gorilla Glass, supports 16.7 million colors, and offers 270 customizable watch faces.
As a rugged smartwatch, the GS3 Ultra carries MIL-STD-810 certification and offers 5ATM water resistance. It also has an IP69K rating, ensuring protection against dust, high-temperature steam, and water jets.
For fitness tracking, the Black Shark GS3 Ultra supports over 160 sports modes and features automatic recognition for activities such as walking, running, elliptical, and rowing.
The smartwatch includes health monitoring features like heart rate tracking, stress measurement, blood oxygen level monitoring, and advanced sleep tracking. It tracks four sleep phases—Deep Sleep, Light Sleep, REM, and Awake—and can even monitor naps taken during the day.
For navigation, the GS3 Ultra supports dual-band GPS (L1+L5) alongside BeiDou, GLONASS, NavIC, and Galileo satellite systems. It also features ENC (Environmental Noise Cancellation) for clearer call quality. Black Shark claims the device’s high-density battery, whose exact capacity remains undisclosed, delivers up to 18 days of usage on a single charge and up to 45 days in Ultra-Long Standby mode.
The Black Shark GS3 Ultra is available in silver and black color options. Pricing and availability details have not yet been announced.
