
Huawei's Pura X, launched in March, introduced a unique approach to foldable smartphones. Unlike typical vertical foldables like the Samsung Flip series, the Pura X features an unconventional 16:10 aspect ratio when unfolded, making it wider than any previous Flip model.
Encouraged by the success of this design experiment, Huawei is reportedly developing a successor, the Pura X2. According to emerging rumors from China, the Pura X2 is expected to debut in the first quarter of next year, between January and March.
Huawei Pura XThe upcoming model will likely be powered by Huawei’s Kirin 9030 chipset, following the original Pura X, which utilizes the Kirin 9020 SoC. Beyond this, no additional details have been revealed so far, but further information is expected to emerge soon.
