We recently unboxed Poco's latest tablet, the Poco Pad M1. Essentially a rebranded Redmi Pad 2 Pro, which we reviewed last month, it arrives with the same set of accessories.
Included in the box are a USB-A to USB-C cable, a 33W charger, and the tablet itself. While Xiaomi lists the Poco Pad M1 at $329, an Early Bird offer currently reduces the price to $279.

The Poco Pad M1 features an uncommon but stunning blue color—a subtle shade that becomes vibrant under direct light.
Its specifications include a 12.1-inch 1600x2560 pixel IPS LCD display with a 120Hz refresh rate and 600 nits brightness, powered by a 4nm Snapdragon 7s Gen 4 chipset, 8GB of RAM, and a sizable 12,000mAh battery. According to Poco, the battery can last up to 83 days on standby. The tablet supports 33W fast charging and can reverse charge other devices at 27W.

Accessories for the Poco Pad M1 are compatible with its higher-end counterpart, the Poco Pad X1.

The included cover case is functional, though it lacks the origami folding mechanism found on the X1's cover. Nonetheless, it offers reliable protection.

The keyboard case follows a similar pattern. It attaches by clipping the tablet in rather than using a magnetic connection, and it does not include a trackpad.

Despite these limitations, the keyboard delivers a satisfying typing experience with impressive key travel, which pleasantly surprised us.
While the design isn’t the floating type, the tablet fits securely in place. Combined with the USB-C port that supports data transfer and external storage, the Poco Pad M1 can serve as a lightweight laptop or Chromebook replacement for casual online tasks.
