
Honor introduced the Magic8 Pro in China in mid-October, and it has now made its global debut in Malaysia. The smartphone is also expected to launch in Europe soon. Notably, the standard Magic8 model is not part of the Malaysian release.
The Magic8 Pro is available for pre-order in Malaysia starting at MYR 4,599 (approximately $1,113) for the version with 12GB RAM and 512GB storage, while the 16GB RAM and 1TB storage model is priced at MYR 5,199 ($1,258). The pre-order period ends on December 4.

Purchasing during the pre-order window includes several perks: a complimentary Insta360 Ace Pro action camera, one year of front and back crack protection, an extended one-year warranty, one year of liquid damage protection, and three months of Google AI Pro access. Additionally, buyers will receive an instant rebate of MYR 300 ($72) after full payment.
The Honor Magic8 Pro features a 6.71-inch LTPO OLED display with a resolution of 1256x2808 pixels, a 120Hz refresh rate, a 4,320Hz PWM dimming rate, and peak brightness up to 6,000 nits. Powered by the Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 Elite SoC, the phone includes a versatile triple rear camera setup: a 50MP main sensor with optical image stabilization (OIS), a 200MP periscope telephoto lens offering 3.7x optical zoom with OIS, and a 50MP ultrawide lens with autofocus. Selfies are captured by a 50MP front camera. The device houses a robust 7,100mAh battery with support for 100W wired and 80W wireless fast charging. It runs on Android 16 with Honor's MagicOS 10 interface.
