Samsung introduced the Galaxy A36 in March and is reportedly developing its successor, the Galaxy A37, as indicated by firmware discovered on Samsung’s servers. Although the firmware did not disclose specific features, a recent Geekbench listing has revealed key hardware details of the upcoming smartphone.

The Geekbench database identifies the Galaxy A37 with model number SM-A376B, powered by the Exynos 1480 chipset. The tested unit ran Android 16 and featured 6GB of RAM, though additional memory variants are expected for the final release.

In terms of performance, the Galaxy A37 scored 1,158 points in the single-core test and 3,401 points in the multi-core test on Geekbench. While the retail version may offer slight improvements, this already surpasses the Galaxy A36, which is powered by the Snapdragon 6 Gen 3 processor and scored 1,007 and 2,917 points respectively in our review.
