The Poco F8 Ultra and Poco F8 Pro were officially unveiled at an event in Bali, Indonesia. Both models deliver flagship specifications and enhanced audio experience with Sound by Bose technology.
Poco F8 Ultra
The Poco F8 Ultra is powered by Qualcomm’s latest Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 chipset, complemented by the VisionBoost D8 co-processor. It features an advanced 6,700 mm² vapor chamber for efficient thermal management.
Its 6.9-inch AMOLED display boasts a 1.5K resolution, 3,500 nits peak brightness, and an adaptive refresh rate up to 120Hz. The screen incorporates minimal bezels and includes an ultrasonic in-display fingerprint sensor for enhanced security.
The rear camera setup comprises a triple lens system: a 50MP Light Fusion 950 primary sensor with optical image stabilization (OIS) and a large 1/1.31-inch sensor size, a 50MP periscope telephoto lens offering 5x optical zoom, and a 50MP ultra-wide camera. The front camera is a 32MP sensor for high-quality selfies.
Audio on the F8 Ultra is enriched by a rear-mounted woofer working alongside dual stereo speakers for a 2.1 channel setup. Poco has collaborated with Bose to optimize sound performance for this series.
Powering the device is a 6,500mAh battery supporting 100W wired and 50W wireless fast charging. The phone runs Android 16-based HyperOS 3, which incorporates AI features and Google Gemini integration. Poco commits to four years of major OS updates and six years of security patches.
The F8 Ultra also offers an IP68 rating for water and dust resistance, a sturdy metal frame, and eSIM support. It is available in Denim Blue and Black color options.
Poco F8 Pro
The Poco F8 Pro features the Snapdragon 8 Elite chipset and utilizes Poco’s proprietary 3D triple-layer IceLoop cooling system for enhanced thermal efficiency.
The phone sports a 6.59-inch AMOLED LTPS display with a Full HD+ resolution and a 120Hz refresh rate. It offers a premium design with a metal frame and a matte-finish glass rear panel.
The F8 Pro’s triple rear cameras include a 50MP Light Fusion 800 primary sensor with OIS, a 50MP telephoto lens delivering 2.5x optical zoom, and an 8MP ultra-wide camera. For selfies, it uses a 20MP front sensor.
It contains a 6,210mAh battery with 100W fast charging capability. Additional features include an IP68 water and dust resistance rating, Bose-tuned Sound by Bose audio technology, an ultrasonic fingerprint scanner, and eSIM support. Like the Ultra, it runs Android 16-based HyperOS 3 and will receive four years of major software updates plus six years of security patches.
The Poco F8 Pro is available online in Black, Blue, and Titanium Silver. Early bird pricing starts at €469/$529 for the 12GB/256GB model, with the 12GB/512GB variant priced at €499/$579/£449. Prices will increase to €650/$579 and €700/$629/£599 after the promotional period.
The Poco F8 Ultra is offered in Black, White, and Denim Blue. The 12GB/256GB version is priced at €649/$679/£549, while the 16GB/512GB model is €699/$729/£599 during the early bird promotion. MSRP post-promotion is £749/$729/€830 and £800/$799/€900 respectively.
