Honor officially launched the Magic8 Pro in China in mid-October, and it has now made its global debut in Malaysia, marking the first availability outside China. The device is also set to arrive in Europe soon. Notably, the standard Magic8 model will not be launched in Malaysia.
The Magic8 Pro is available for pre-order at MYR 4,599 ($1,113) for the 12GB RAM and 512GB storage variant, and MYR 5,199 ($1,258) for the 16GB RAM and 1TB storage version. The pre-order window remains open until December 4.
Pre-order customers will receive several incentives, including a complimentary Insta360 Ace Pro action camera, one-year front and back crack protection, a one-year extended warranty, one-year liquid damage protection, three months of Google AI Pro access, plus a MYR 300 ($72) instant rebate upon full payment.
The Honor Magic8 Pro features a 6.71-inch LTPO OLED display with a resolution of 1256x2808 pixels, a 120Hz refresh rate, 4,320Hz PWM, and peak brightness up to 6,000 nits. It is powered by the Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 chipset and comes equipped with a versatile triple rear camera system: a 50MP main sensor with OIS, a 200MP periscope telephoto lens offering 3.7x optical zoom and OIS, and a 50MP ultrawide camera with autofocus. For selfies, it has a 50MP front camera. The device houses a large 7,100mAh battery supporting 100W wired and 80W wireless fast charging. It runs on Android 16 with MagicOS 10.
