The Poco F8 Ultra and Poco F8 Pro were officially unveiled at a launch event in Bali, Indonesia. Both devices feature flagship specifications and enhanced sound technology developed in collaboration with Bose.
Poco F8 Ultra
The Poco F8 Ultra is powered by Qualcomm’s latest Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 Elite chipset paired with the VisionBoost D8 processor and a 6,700 mm² vapor chamber for superior thermal management.
It sports a 6.9-inch AMOLED display with 1.5K resolution, peak brightness of 3,500 nits, and an adaptive refresh rate up to 120Hz. The screen features slim bezels and includes an ultrasonic in-display fingerprint sensor.
The rear camera setup consists of a triple camera array: a primary 50MP Light Fusion 950 sensor with optical image stabilization (OIS) and a large 1/1.31-inch sensor, a 50MP periscope telephoto lens offering 5x optical zoom, and a 50MP ultrawide camera. Selfies are captured by a 32MP front-facing camera.
The F8 Ultra also features a rear-mounted woofer that complements dual speakers to deliver a 2.1 audio setup, enhanced with Bose’s audio tuning for a premium sound experience.
Powering the device is a 6,500mAh battery that supports 100W wired and 50W wireless fast charging. It runs on Android 16-based HyperOS 3, including various AI enhancements and Google Gemini integration. The phone will receive four years of major OS updates and six years of security patches.
The Poco F8 Ultra boasts an IP68 rating for water and dust resistance, a robust metal frame, and eSIM support. It is offered in Denim Blue and Black colors.
Poco F8 Pro
The Poco F8 Pro comes equipped with the Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 Elite chipset and features Poco’s 3D triple-layer IceLoop cooling system to enhance thermal efficiency.
It features a 6.59-inch AMOLED LTPS display with Full HD+ resolution and a 120Hz refresh rate. The phone combines a metal frame with a matte-finished glass back panel.
The rear camera system includes a 50MP Light Fusion 800 primary sensor with OIS, a 50MP telephoto lens with 2.5x optical zoom, and an 8MP ultrawide camera. For selfies, it houses a 20MP front camera.
The F8 Pro packs a 6,210mAh battery with 100W fast charging. Additional features include an IP68 rating, Bose-enhanced audio, an ultrasonic fingerprint scanner, and eSIM support. It also runs Android 16-based HyperOS 3 and will receive the same four years of major updates and six years of security patches.
Available colors for the Poco F8 Pro are Black, Blue, and Titanium Silver. Both the F8 Ultra and F8 Pro are available to order through Xiaomi UK's official online store. Pricing for the F8 Pro starts at £399 for the 12GB/256GB model, with the 12GB/512GB variant priced at £449. The F8 Ultra starts at £549 for 12GB/256GB and goes up to £599 for 16GB/512GB.
