The Poco F8 series is set for announcement tomorrow, but we have an exclusive early look at both models and permission to share their designs today.
Presented side by side are the Poco F8 Ultra in Denim Blue and the Poco F8 Pro in Silver. The Poco F8 Ultra features a textured back that mimics denim jeans visually, yet feels more like rubber to the touch. Notably, it also boasts a physical Bose-branded speaker on its rear panel.
The Poco F8 Pro adopts a simpler aesthetic but retains Bose audio enhancements, promising impressive sound quality.
While we can’t disclose full specifications just yet, some details have surfaced ahead of the official launch.
The Poco F8 Pro is powered by the Snapdragon 8 Elite chipset, whereas the Ultra upgrades to the latest Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5. Additionally, the Ultra model includes a dedicated VisionBoost D8 chipset designed to enhance image details and enable AI Super Resolution.
In terms of battery, the F8 Pro comes with a 6,210mAh unit, while the F8 Ultra offers a larger 6,500mAh capacity.
The Poco F8 Pro feels solid and thoughtfully engineered. It strikes a balance between heft and comfort, indicative of its substantial battery inside. Its display size falls between 6.5 and 6.8 inches, providing an optimal screen experience.
