iQOO 15 Launches Internationally Starting with India: Key Features and Availability

The iQOO 15, first unveiled in China last month, has begun its international rollout with India as the initial market. Following India, the device will launch in Taiwan on November 28, Indonesia on December 2, Thailand on December 3, Saudi Arabia on December 5, and Malaysia and Russia on December 9.

The iQOO 15 will be available internationally in Alpha, Legend, and Grey color options, with up to 16GB of RAM and 1TB of storage. However, in India, only the Legend and Alpha models will be offered, while the Grey color variant will be exclusive to Thailand, Malaysia, and Russia.

In India, the iQOO 15 comes in two configurations: 12GB RAM with 256GB storage priced at INR 72,999, and 16GB RAM with 512GB storage priced at INR 79,999. The phone will be available through iQOO’s official website, Amazon.in, vivo exclusive stores, and offline retailers. Priority Pass users can purchase the device starting November 27, while open sales begin December 1. Launch offers are also available, as detailed in the image below.

The iQOO 15 is powered by Qualcomm’s flagship Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 SoC, supplemented by the Supercomputing Chip Q3 to elevate gaming performance. It runs Android 16-based OriginOS 6, making it the first smartphone in India to ship with OriginOS pre-installed. iQOO promises five major Android OS upgrades and seven years of security updates.

The device features a 6.85-inch 144Hz LTPO AMOLED display with a 1440p resolution, peak brightness of 6,000 nits, and Dolby Vision support. The display includes an ultrasonic fingerprint scanner and a punch-hole cutout housing a 32MP selfie camera.

On the rear, the iQOO 15 sports a triple-camera system consisting of three 50MP sensors: a primary camera, an ultrawide lens, and a periscope telephoto unit. Powering the device is a substantial 7,000 mAh silicon-carbon battery supporting 100W wired and 40W wireless charging across all regions.

Additional features of the iQOO 15 include stereo speakers, NFC, an IR blaster, and eSIM support. The phone is rated IP68 and IP69 for water and dust resistance and features distinctive Monster Halo lighting around the rear camera module.
