The Realme GT 8 Pro, unveiled in China last month and introduced to global markets last week, goes on sale in India today at 12 PM local time. The smartphone will be available via Realme's official Indian website, Flipkart, and offline retailers.
In India, the GT 8 Pro comes in two colors—Diary White and Urban Blue—with two memory options: 12GB/256GB priced at INR 72,999 ($820/€710) and 16GB/512GB priced at INR 78,999 ($885/€770). A limited-time bank offer provides a discount of INR 5,000 ($55/€50) on both variants, along with a complimentary camera deco set.
The Realme GT 8 Pro Dream Edition will also be available today from the same channels. It comes in a single 16GB/512GB configuration priced at INR 79,999, but it does not include any discounts.

Powered by the Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 Elite SoC and running Realme UI 7 based on Android 16, the GT 8 Pro promises four years of Android OS updates and five years of security patches.
The device features a 6.79-inch AMOLED display with a 144Hz refresh rate, a 1440p resolution, and peak brightness of 7,000 nits. It is equipped with a robust 7,000mAh battery supporting 120W wired charging, 50W wireless charging, 10W reverse wireless charging, and 5W reverse wired charging.
For photography, the Realme GT 8 Pro includes a quad-camera setup: a 32MP front selfie camera and a rear triple camera consisting of a 50MP primary sensor, a 50MP ultrawide sensor, and a 200MP periscope telephoto lens. The primary camera is fine-tuned in collaboration with Ricoh to feature the Ricoh GR mode.

Additional features include a Goodix ultrasonic in-display fingerprint sensor, stereo speakers, NFC, an IR blaster, and eSIM support (including for the Indian model). The smartphone is also rated IP68 and IP69 for water and dust resistance.
