Earlier this year, ZTE launched the nubia Flip2 clamshell foldable globally. Now, the company seems to be preparing its successor. Fresh leaked renders have revealed the design of the upcoming nubia Flip3, alongside an entirely new book-style foldable device.
Renowned leakster Evan Blass shared detailed renders of both the nubia Flip3 and a new nubia Fold, which marks ZTE's first entry into the book-style foldable segment.
The nubia Flip3 renders showcase a large, edge-to-edge cover display, a significant upgrade from the smaller screen on the Flip2. The images also reveal a dual-camera setup featuring two lenses of different sizes.
According to the leaked visuals, the clamshell foldable will offer black and white color options. It also appears to include three physical buttons—likely the power button and volume controls—along with a set of pogo pins.
The nubia Fold renders reveal a large rectangular rear camera module housing three sensors and an LED flash. The inner flexible display features a camera cutout located at the top right corner.
Currently, ZTE has not officially confirmed either the nubia Flip3 or the nubia Fold, but an official announcement is expected soon.
