The Poco F8 Ultra and F8 Pro were officially launched at an event in Bali, Indonesia, introducing flagship-level specifications and enhanced audio tuned by Bose.
Poco F8 Ultra

The Poco F8 Ultra is powered by Qualcomm's latest Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 chipset, complemented by the VisionBoost D8 processor and a 6,700 mm² vapor chamber to improve heat dissipation.
It features a 6.9-inch AMOLED display with a 1.5K resolution, peak brightness of 3,500 nits, and a 120Hz adaptive refresh rate. The screen is framed by slim bezels and includes an ultrasonic in-display fingerprint sensor.

On the rear, the Ultra sports a versatile triple camera array: a 50MP Light Fusion 950 primary sensor with optical image stabilization (OIS) and a 1/1.31-inch sensor size, a 50MP periscope telephoto lens offering 5x optical zoom, and a 50MP ultrawide camera. A 32MP front-facing camera handles selfies.

Audio on the F8 Ultra benefits from a rear-mounted woofer paired with dual speakers for a 2.1-channel system. Bose has collaborated with Poco to optimize the sound quality across the F8 series.
Powering the device is a large 6,500mAh battery supporting 100W wired and 50W wireless charging. The phone runs HyperOS 3 based on Android 16, incorporating AI features and Google Gemini integration. Poco guarantees 4 years of major software updates and 6 years of security patches.

The Ultra also boasts an IP68 rating, a metal frame, eSIM support, and comes in Denim Blue and Black color options.
Poco F8 Pro

The Poco F8 Pro features the previous generation Snapdragon 8 Elite SoC and utilizes the company’s 3D triple-layer IceLoop cooling system for efficient thermal management.
Its 6.59-inch AMOLED LTPS display offers FHD+ resolution with a 120Hz refresh rate. The design includes a metal frame and a matte-finished glass rear panel.

The F8 Pro also comes with a triple rear camera setup: a 50MP Light Fusion 800 primary sensor with OIS, a 50MP telephoto lens with 2.5x optical zoom, and an 8MP ultrawide sensor. The front camera is a 20MP sensor.
Battery capacity is 6,210mAh with support for 100W fast charging. Additional features include an IP68 rating, Sound by Bose audio technology, an ultrasonic fingerprint scanner, and eSIM support. The device runs Android 16-based HyperOS 3 and receives the same software update and security support as the Ultra.

The Poco F8 Pro is available in Black, Blue, and Titanium Silver. Both models can be ordered through Xiaomi UK's official online store. Pricing for the F8 Pro starts at £399 for the 12GB/256GB variant and £449 for the 12GB/512GB model.
