Black Friday Showdown: OnePlus 13 vs. Nothing Phone (3) – Specs, Prices, and Deals Compared

Source: Date:

The OnePlus 15 remains unavailable in the US, with no confirmed launch date on the official OnePlus website. However, the OnePlus 13 presents a compelling alternative, offering strong performance at a lower price point.

The base model with 12GB RAM and 256GB storage is priced at $700, while the upgraded 16GB/512GB version costs $800. Although it features an earlier generation Snapdragon 8 Elite chipset, it remains one of the fastest processors on the market. The 6.82-inch 1440p+ LTPO OLED display delivers excellent visuals.

On the camera front, the OnePlus 13 includes a triple 50MP setup on the rear, featuring a primary sensor sized at 1/1.43” and a 3x periscope telephoto lens at 73mm focal length. This configuration arguably surpasses the OnePlus 15’s camera. The 6,000mAh battery may be smaller than the 7,300mAh unit in the OnePlus 15, but it still offers robust endurance with an active use time of 15 hours and 28 minutes.

Another noteworthy option outside the usual Apple and Samsung lineup is the Nothing Phone (3). It is priced lower than the OnePlus 13 for comparable configurations but reflects this in its specifications. Powered by a Snapdragon 8s Gen 4 chipset, the phone sits just below the flagship tier. Its 6.67-inch 1260p+ OLED display lacks LTPO technology, which impacts power efficiency and refresh rate adaptiveness.

The Nothing Phone (3) boasts three 50MP rear cameras, including a large 1/1.3” main sensor and a 3x periscope lens. While its cameras are capable, image quality does not match the Hasselblad-branded system on the OnePlus 13, which is likely the last to feature this partnership due to OnePlus moving to in-house camera solutions on the 15. Battery capacity is 5,150mAh, offering a shorter active use time of 12 hours and 56 minutes. Additionally, its charging speed is slower, reaching 63% in 30 minutes compared to 95% for the OnePlus 13.
