Poco Pad M1 Unboxing: Stylish Blue Tablet with Strong Specs and Accessories

Source: Date:

Today, we unbox Poco's latest tablet, the Poco Pad M1. Essentially a rebadged Redmi Pad 2 Pro—which we reviewed last month—this tablet includes the same accessories in the box.

Inside, you'll find a USB-A to USB-C cable, a 33W charger, and the tablet itself. Xiaomi lists the Poco Pad M1 at $329, but an Early Bird discount lowers the price to $279.

The Poco Pad M1 arrives in a striking blue finish, a first for Poco. This subtle shade comes alive under direct light, offering a refined look.

Its specifications include a 12.1-inch 1600x2560 pixel IPS LCD display with a 120Hz refresh rate and 600 nits of brightness. Powered by a 4nm Snapdragon 7s Gen 4 chipset, it features 8GB of RAM and a 12,000mAh battery. Poco claims the battery supports up to 83 days of standby time. The 33W charger not only powers the tablet but also can reverse charge other devices at up to 27W.

You can accessorize the Poco Pad M1 similarly to its higher-end sibling, the Poco Pad X1.

Here is the Cover case. While it lacks the origami folding mechanism found on the X1’s cover, it still provides solid protection and functionality.

The Keyboard case follows the same design philosophy. It doesn’t attach magnetically like the X1’s keyboard and requires clipping the tablet into place. Additionally, it lacks a trackpad.

Despite this, the keyboard offers a pleasant typing experience with impressive key travel—more than we expected.

While it’s not a floating design, the tablet fits securely. Coupled with the USB-C port supporting data and external storage, the Poco Pad M1 makes a compelling option for light online work, potentially replacing a laptop or Chromebook for many users.
