Poco has introduced two new tablets, with the Poco Pad X1 positioned as the premium option. Essentially, it offers an affordable alternative to the iPad Pro 11, and in fact, it is a rebadged Xiaomi Pad 7.
This tablet delivers impressive performance for its price point. It is available in a single 8GB RAM and 256GB storage configuration priced at $399. Inside the box, you'll find a USB-C to USB-A cable and a 45W charger.

The real value comes from its compatibility with accessories designed for the Xiaomi Pad 7. Poco offers a $99 Focus Pen as well as a smart cover that magnetically attaches to the tablet. This cover features origami-inspired folds, allowing it to serve as a kickstand.

For an additional $199—half the price of the tablet—you can purchase the Floating Keyboard. This keyboard includes a full set of keys and a clickable trackpad, holding the tablet at a 120-degree angle to provide a laptop-like experience.

Due to the 11-inch tablet size, the QWERTY layout on the keyboard feels somewhat compact, and the trackpad shape is less than ideal. However, after a few days of use, it becomes comfortable for typing. The inclusion of a USB 3.2 Gen 1 port for data transfer and external drive support enhances productivity potential.

The Poco Pad X1 also impresses with its build quality. The 11.2-inch IPS LCD display offers a sharp 3200x2136 resolution at a 144Hz refresh rate, delivering outstanding image quality. A quad-speaker setup ensures a rich multimedia experience.
Under the hood, the tablet is powered by a Snapdragon 7+ Gen 3 SoC paired with 8GB of RAM. Navigation and multitasking, including switching between Chrome tabs, are smooth and responsive.
Its 8,850mAh battery provides excellent endurance, with Poco claiming over 11 hours of continuous video playback. For a detailed performance overview, you can refer to our detailed look at the Xiaomi Pad 7.
