The Poco F8 Ultra and Poco F8 Pro were officially unveiled at a launch event in Bali, Indonesia. Both models feature flagship specifications and enhanced audio technology co-developed with Bose.
Poco F8 Ultra
The Poco F8 Ultra is powered by Qualcomm's latest Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 processor combined with the VisionBoost D8 chipset. To improve thermal management, the device includes a 6,700 mm² vapor chamber cooling system.
The phone boasts a 6.9-inch AMOLED display with a 1.5K resolution, peak brightness of 3,500 nits, and a 120Hz adaptive refresh rate. It offers slim bezels and an ultrasonic in-display fingerprint sensor for security.
On the rear, the Ultra is equipped with a versatile triple camera system, featuring a 50MP Light Fusion 950 primary sensor with Optical Image Stabilization (OIS) and a large 1/1.31-inch sensor size. It also includes a 50MP periscope telephoto lens with 5x optical zoom and a 50MP ultrawide lens. A 32MP front-facing camera handles selfies.
Audio performance is enhanced by a rear-mounted woofer alongside dual speakers, delivering a 2.1-channel sound setup. Poco partnered with Bose to tune the audio experience on the F8 series for superior sound quality.
The device houses a substantial 6,500mAh battery supporting 100W wired and 50W wireless fast charging. It runs on HyperOS 3 based on Android 16, which incorporates several AI features and Google Gemini integration. Poco promises four years of major Android updates and six years of security patches.
The Poco F8 Ultra is IP68-rated for water and dust resistance, features a metal frame, and supports eSIM. It is available in Denim Blue and Black color options.
Poco F8 Pro
The Poco F8 Pro is powered by the Snapdragon 8 Elite chipset and utilizes Poco’s 3D triple-layer IceLoop cooling system for efficient thermal management.
The device features a 6.59-inch AMOLED LTPS display with Full HD+ resolution and a 120Hz refresh rate. Its design includes a metal frame and a matte-finished glass rear panel.
The rear camera setup consists of a 50MP Light Fusion 800 primary sensor with OIS, a 50MP telephoto lens offering 2.5x optical zoom, and an 8MP ultrawide camera. For selfies, it is equipped with a 20MP front camera.
The F8 Pro is powered by a 6,210mAh battery supporting 100W fast charging. Additional features include an IP68 rating, Sound by Bose audio technology, an ultrasonic fingerprint sensor, and eSIM support. It also runs Android 16-based HyperOS 3 and receives the same update and security patch guarantees as the Ultra model.
The Poco F8 Pro is available for online pre-order in Black, Blue, and Titanium Silver. Early bird pricing starts at €519/$529 for the 12GB/256GB version, while the 12GB/512GB model is priced at €549/$579/£449. Prices will rise to €650/$579 and €700/$629/£599 after the promotional period.
The Poco F8 Ultra comes in Black, White, and Denim Blue, priced at €699/$679/£549 for the 12GB/256GB variant and €700/$729/£599 for the 16GB/512GB option during the early bird sale. MSRP is set at £749/$729/€830 and £800/$799/€900, respectively.
