In a strategic move to strengthen its leadership, Samsung Electronics has appointed TM Roh as the head of its Device eXperience (DX) Division, while also naming him CEO. This marks an expansion of Roh’s responsibilities, as he continues to oversee the Mobile eXperience (MX) business alongside his new role. Notably, Roh will share CEO status with Young Hyun Jun, Vice Chairman and Head of the Device Solutions (DS) Division, who retains leadership of the Memory business.
This leadership reshuffle signals Samsung’s confidence in TM Roh’s effective management of the mobile segment over recent years, entrusting him with broader oversight across device experiences. The company is clearly positioning itself to innovate aggressively in the DX domain under Roh’s expanded guidance.
