Samsung Galaxy S26 Ultra Might Feature a Slightly Bigger Battery Than S25 Ultra

Source: Date:

The battery capacity of the upcoming Samsung Galaxy S26 Ultra has become a hot topic among tech enthusiasts. While some previous rumors suggested that the battery size would remain unchanged from the Galaxy S25 Ultra's 5,000 mAh, new information from a Chinese leak proposes a modest increase. This could mark the first battery upgrade in a few generations of the Ultra series.

According to the latest leak, the Galaxy S26 Ultra could come equipped with a 5,200 mAh battery. Although the increase is not substantial, it does represent progress given that recent Ultra models have consistently featured a 5,000 mAh battery.

However, this new claim contradicts an earlier Chinese certification from August which indicated the Galaxy S26 Ultra would have a battery with a rated capacity of 4,855 mAh, typically marketed as 5,000 mAh. Until more reliable details emerge, the exact battery size remains uncertain.

Charging speeds are also rumored to improve. The Galaxy S26 Ultra is expected to support 60W wired charging and 25W wireless charging, an upgrade from the Galaxy S25 Ultra’s 45W wired and 15W wireless charging support.
