According to industry analyst Jeff Pu from GF Securities, Apple may release a trio of affordable devices simultaneously in spring 2026. These include the anticipated iPhone 17e, a successor to the current "e" series budget smartphone, alongside a new entry-level MacBook and a revamped base iPad model.

The iPhone 17e is expected to showcase notable enhancements such as the powerful A19 chipset, an 18MP Center Stage camera, and the advanced C1 modem. Early rumors also suggest it could feature the Dynamic Island interface, replacing the traditional notch seen on the iPhone 16e.

The new budget MacBook is anticipated to sport a 13-inch display and will arrive in vibrant colors matching the base iPad lineup, such as silver, yellow, pink, and blue. MacRumors hints the laptop could be priced around $599, making it a highly attractive option for students and casual users.

On the tablet front, Apple may introduce the base iPad with its first-ever inclusion of Apple Intelligence technology powered by an A18 chip, all while retaining the classic design that users are familiar with.

Based on a recent poll, the budget MacBook appears to be the most sought-after among readers, capturing over 36% of votes, followed by the iPhone 17e and base iPad each at 18%. However, a notable 27% of participants indicated a preference for higher-end devices.

Looking further ahead, Apple is expected to launch the iPhone 18 Pro and possibly an iPhone Fold by fall 2026, with the standard iPhone 18, iPhone 18e, and the iPhone Air 2 slated for release in early 2027.
