Samsung is gearing up to reveal its highly anticipated Galaxy S26 series in just a few weeks. As the launch approaches, the company has made a strategic leadership shift by reinstating its traditional co-CEO structure. TM Roh, who leads Samsung’s Mobile eXperience (MX) division—responsible for smartphones, tablets, TVs, and home appliances—returns to a co-CEO role. The other co-CEO is Young Hyun Jun, Vice Chairman and head of the Device Solutions (DS) division.
This move marks a return to Samsung’s traditional dual-CEO system, aiming to balance responsibilities between mobile and device-focused divisions. TM Roh will spearhead mobile innovations, while Young Hyun Jun continues driving advancements in semiconductors and memory solutions.
