After its initial launch in China on October 15, the Honor Magic8 series is gearing up for its global release, starting with an event in Malaysia on November 27.
Interestingly, only the Magic8 Pro model will be available in Malaysia, with European markets expected to receive the phone shortly thereafter.
Pre-orders for the Magic8 Pro will open from November 27 through December 4. Customers who place a pre-order during this period will receive a complimentary Insta360 Ace Pro action camera.
Notably, the global version of the phone will come equipped with a slightly smaller 7,100mAh battery, compared to the 7,200mAh battery in the Chinese version.
The Magic8 Pro runs on the powerful Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 chipset and boasts a 6.71-inch LTPO OLED display with a 120Hz refresh rate and peak brightness of 6,000 nits. Photography enthusiasts will appreciate its versatile triple rear camera setup, which includes a 200MP periscope telephoto lens, a 50MP primary sensor, and a 50MP ultrawide camera with autofocus.
