Huawei is preparing to launch several exciting devices on November 25 in China, including the much-anticipated Mate 80 series, the Mate X7 foldable, and a brand-new tablet—the MatePad Edge.
The MatePad Edge stands out with its versatile 2-in-1 design, featuring a detachable keyboard that transforms the tablet into a productivity powerhouse running HarmonyOS. It also includes a pop-out stand on the back and a stylish circular camera module equipped with dual sensors.
This premium tablet will boast impressive specifications including up to 32GB of RAM and a massive 2TB of internal storage capacity. Pre-orders are already live on Huawei’s official Vmall online store.
The MatePad Edge will be available in several configurations: 16GB RAM with 256GB storage, 16GB/512GB, 24GB RAM with 1TB storage, and the flagship 32GB/2TB variant. Buyers can choose between Moonlight Silver and Space Gray color options to suit their style.
Leaked details from tipster Digital Chat Station have revealed that the MatePad Edge will feature a large 14.2-inch display, with an optional anti-glare screen, ideal for extended use. Under the hood, the tablet is powered by the Kirin 9 PC SoC and includes an active cooling fan for enhanced performance.
Additionally, the MatePad Edge keyboard accessory supports 65W fast charging and features 1.8mm key travel along with a pressure-sensitive trackpad, enhancing the typing and navigation experience.
