Vivo is gearing up to launch its anticipated S50 series next month. Ahead of the official reveal, the company has confirmed that the S50 Pro mini will be powered by the highly anticipated Snapdragon 8 Gen 5 chipset, aligning with earlier rumors that surfaced in late October.
Although the Snapdragon 8 Gen 5 chipset is set to be officially unveiled on November 26, Vivo has shared a sneak peek into what the S50 Pro mini’s performance might look like. According to Vivo’s Han Boxiao, the device is expected to reach an impressive score of around 3 million points on the AnTuTu benchmark platform.
While Vivo hasn’t specified which edition of the AnTuTu benchmark this score refers to, hitting 3 million points is an excellent indicator of the phone’s processing capabilities. Additionally, the S50 Pro mini will be equipped with LPDDR5X RAM and UFS 4.1 storage, promising faster memory and data transfer speeds to complement the powerful chipset.
