HMD Global is set to strengthen its presence in the enterprise and government sectors through its HMD Secure division, unveiling the Terra M — an ultra-rugged “smart feature phone” designed specifically for demanding professional environments. This device targets critical infrastructure operators, military personnel, law enforcement officers, first responders, as well as government and corporate employees.
The Terra M is built to withstand harsh conditions, meeting the rigorous MIL-STD-810H military standard for durability and offering IP68 and IP69K certifications for water and dust resistance. HMD Secure complements the device with Mobile Device Management (MDM) capabilities, enabling secure fleet oversight alongside a suite of pre-installed enterprise applications to simplify deployment and management.

Battery life is another strong suit, with a 2,510 mAh cell that sustains up to 10 days of standby time. Optional accessories such as a charging cradle and belt clip are also available to enhance usability in field conditions.
