Samsung is gearing up to launch its new Galaxy S26 lineup, and fresh leaks have shed light on the RAM and storage configurations that will be available for the upcoming models. The Galaxy S26 and S26+ are expected to offer two memory variants each: 12GB RAM paired with either 256GB or 512GB of internal storage.

Meanwhile, the flagship Galaxy S26 Ultra will provide more options. In most regions, it will come with 12GB RAM in 256GB and 512GB storage variants, along with a premium 1TB storage model also featuring 12GB RAM. However, in select markets like China—which is known for its competitive smartphone landscape where flagship devices typically feature at least 16GB RAM—the 1TB Galaxy S26 Ultra will boost its memory to 16GB to better compete with local brands.

This strategic variation allows Samsung to balance cost and performance expectations globally; while some regions will receive a slightly trimmed 12GB configuration at the top-end, key markets will get the enhanced 16GB version to stay competitive.

In addition, a recent leak confirmed that the entire Galaxy S26 series will be equipped with fast LPDDR5X RAM, capable of speeds up to 10.7Gbps, promising improved performance and efficiency over previous generations. The S26 series launch is rumored to take place in February, generating excitement among Samsung fans ahead of its official unveiling.
