Huawei has officially unveiled the design, color options, and release timeline for its much-anticipated Mate 80 series, alongside revealing plans to introduce the Mate X7 foldable at the same event. With pre-orders now open, the company is gearing up for a significant product launch.
The new Mate 80 lineup, including the Mate 80, Mate 80 Pro, Mate 80 Pro Max, and the premium Mate 80 RS Ultimate Design, will be launched in China on November 25. Huawei has begun accepting pre-orders for the series via its Vmall online store.
Starting with the Mate 80 and Mate 80 Pro, both models showcase a fresh circular rear camera module housing three sensors, including a periscope telephoto lens. The front design features dual cameras enabling advanced 3D face unlock capabilities.
The Mate 80 will be offered in four distinct colors: Dawn Gold, Obsidian Black, Snowy White, and Spruce Green. Storage and RAM configurations include 12GB/256GB, 12GB/512GB, and 16GB/512GB.

The Mate 80 Pro shares the same color options and base RAM/storage variants but adds a luxurious 16GB/1TB configuration for those seeking maximum capacity.

The Mate 80 Pro Max steps up with a quad-camera setup on the rear, featuring dual periscope telephoto sensors, continuing the legacy of last year’s Mate 70 Pro+. On the front, you will find dual cameras as well.
This model will be available in Polar Night Black, Polar Silver, Polar Day Gold, and Aurora Blue. Storage options include 16GB/512GB and a top-tier 16GB/1TB choice.
Mate 80 Pro Max color variants
At the top of the lineup is the Mate 80 RS Ultimate Design, recognized by its distinctive octagon-shaped camera module. It features quad rear cameras along with dual front sensors.
The Ultimate Design version offers 20GB of RAM paired with either 512GB or 1TB of internal storage. It comes in elegant Dark Black, Pure White, and striking Hibiscus color variants.
