Source: Date:

The upcoming Samsung Galaxy S26 series is generating buzz due to its refined build, promising to be lighter and thinner than its predecessors. Recent leaks reveal detailed dimensions and weights for all three models—S26, S26 Plus/Pro, and S26 Ultra—highlighting Samsung's focus on enhancing portability without compromising on premium features.

Initial reports suggested the base Galaxy S26 would measure 149.5 x 71.6 x 7.24 mm, but trusted tipster UniversIce has updated the information indicating the device will actually be slimmer at 6.9mm thick. This marks a reduction of 0.3mm compared to the previous Galaxy S25. However, the base model’s weight is expected to be 164 grams, which is 2 grams more than the Galaxy S25.

For the Galaxy S26 Plus/Pro model, Samsung seems to retain a similar profile as last year’s Galaxy S25+. The Plus/Pro will be 7.3mm thick and weigh in at 191 grams — nearly identical to its predecessor. Compared to the iPhone 17 series, both the S26 and S26+/Pro models will be over 1 mm thinner and 13 grams lighter, giving Samsung an edge in sleekness and ease of handling.

The Galaxy S26 Ultra is shaping up to be the slimmest and lightest of the trio. It is expected to feature a 7.9mm thickness and weigh 214 grams, trimming 0.3mm off the thickness and 4 grams off the weight compared to last year’s S25 Ultra. When stacked against the iPhone 17 Pro Max, the Galaxy S26 Ultra will be a remarkable 17 grams lighter and nearly 0.85 mm thinner, solidifying its place as a more portable flagship device.
