Honor is gearing up to officially launch its latest smartphones, the Honor 500 and 500 Pro, on November 24. Ahead of the event, detailed specifications for both models have surfaced, giving tech enthusiasts a clear glimpse of what to expect from these highly anticipated devices.

The Honor 500 features a 6.55-inch LTPS flat OLED display with a sharp "1.5K" resolution of 1264x2736 pixels, accompanied by a smooth 120Hz refresh rate and an impressive 3,840Hz PWM dimming capability. Photography is powered by a remarkable 200MP main camera sporting a large 1/1.4" sensor, complemented by a 12MP ultrawide shooter and a 50MP front-facing camera. This model is equipped with a massive 8,000 mAh battery supporting 80W wired fast charging. Under the hood, it runs on the Snapdragon 8s Gen 4 chipset and features a premium metal frame along with dual stereo speakers. Durability is enhanced with IP68, IP69, and IP69K dust and water resistance ratings.

Honor 500 and 500 Pro specs leak

The Honor 500 Pro shares many of the same standout features, including the display specs, battery capacity, wired charging, main and ultrawide cameras, and front camera. However, it further elevates the photography experience by adding a 50MP telephoto lens powered by Sony's IMX856 sensor, offering 3x optical zoom. Wireless charging at 50W is also supported, and security sees an upgrade with an ultrasonic in-display fingerprint scanner. This variant is powered by the Snapdragon 8 Elite chipset, making it the premium option in the series. Both devices maintain the same high durability ratings as the base model.
